recently i havent been updating due to the busy week before the mid semester tests, and the week with mst. i will be updating on these dates as followed:

Let's start with 28 Nov, Friday:
it was the day for SPSTAR! Fauzi was in the contest so all of us being very nice classmates, we made her big cards to show our support! :D:D:D we even wear class tee!
however, very sad to say, the organiser very last minute called fauzi and said that she was not in the contest. LIKE WTH!!! we totally dun understand wat is the reason behind this but, ya, fauzi is not performing. so we actually dun plan to stay for the performance alr, since fauzi is not in, and it is like a busy week with mst ahead. but nevertheless, to get the cca points that we are supposed to have, we went there. and watched all of them perform, cos the security was way too tight for us to sneak out the convention centre.cat trying to act like an angel...

DTRM year 3 ming wei, we went to 'support' him. cos miss chen ask us to go, cos he is from our course. -_-

1-4 Dec, Mon-Thu:
we had om, stats, ggt, pacc tests. i have to say, overally not as hard as the previous mst. pls help to pray i will hit 3.0 gor gpa this sem.
went out with aud alexia on thurs, after pacc, we went to walk around, buy things etc. and went to eat sakae sushi buffet. (i think i had a post for this)
6 Dec, Saturday:
met aud and alexia again for Ben & Jerry's Chunk Fest at fort canning. it was raining earlier and the place is muddy. eeww.

weird expression captured due the request of saying the words 'chunk fest'. the girl took the photo at the moment when me and alexia said 'fe'. dont imagine.
7 Dec, Sunday:
went out with my mum and sis, eat this matcha 雪花冰! very nice! :D

10 Dec, Wednesday:
went to watch cape no. 7 with my mum and sis. was really a nice show, no wonder they can get 6 golden horse awards.

11 Dec, Thursday:
it was SGB distribution day! we finally get to help out the sgb process.
with huishan:
so we gave him the items, den we had a short interview with him. he was quite friendly la, he explained to us his condition before and after contracting cancer and basically more on his life now. it was me and aud's first time to do this kind of community work for primers. so i guess thats why ben asked us to ask him qns instead of him doing that.
so after his hse visit, we walked ard that area, like 无头苍蝇. we dun even know wheres the bus stop. lol. luckily we had a group leader who knows that area, if not if only me and aud is there, i guess we will just keep walking until we cry. haha.
Reflections me and aud did for ben (p/s: we dunno wat's the man's name :P) :
"When we stepped into the house of Mr ___________, a patient who suffered from leukemia, liver problem and nerve blockage by bones, we were quite relieved that his living conditions were better than what we expected. However, Currently, Mr ____________ is not receiving treatment on a regular basis. He mentioned that his medical condition cannot be cured and only by consuming medicine will it help to lessen the pain. After the 10 minutes interview, we understand that his family is facing financial difficulty as only one of his children is having a permanent job. Due to this problem, he cancelled his recent medical check up to lessen the financial burden of his family.
We really pitied him because we can understand that medical bills these days are rather pricey. One time treatment can burn a hole in the pocket! Mr ___________ was working before he contracted the illness. But after that, he could not work anymore due to the pain and difficulty in movement. When asked about what other things we could do to help, he told us that money enough would be of great help to their family.
This whole experience was enriching. We learned that there are actually so many less fortunate people out there who need our help, not only financially but also morally. Individually we can't make a difference in their life, however the society will definitely be able to do so if every single one of us put in effort to show our support, and care and concern for them.
Lets all do our part to help the less fortunate!
Grace & Audrey"
